During one field session at a family-run shop, two people who did not build HomeLog spoke four Thai requests into LINE using ordinary speech-to-text. Each request was followed by a measurable change in the intended physical device.
This was the first recorded evidence that non-founder household members could operate HomeLog through natural language in a real environment. It demonstrated a working interaction loop; it did not establish general reliability or a finished product.

The power readings were used as physical evidence that the intended devices changed state. The users did not open the device-control interface during these requests.
At a high level, the successful path was:

The language model participated in interpreting the request. It did not receive authority to choose an arbitrary device or bypass household permissions. Device resolution and execution remained constrained by the system around it.
This distinction matters because an AI in a physical execution path must fail toward not acting when meaning or authority is uncertain.
